It’s hard to miss the imminence and excitement of this eclipse season we have been experiencing. The Solar Eclipse on March 29th is one of the most powerful astrological events of 2025, because it marks not only the end of a nodal influence through the first sign of the zodiac, but the transition of the outer planet Neptune out of Pisces, where it’s been for the past 14 years, moving into the sign of Aries the day next on March 30th.
For many people it seems like time has been speeding up, bringing sensations of shock and displacement. During this month’s eclipse portal there have been 2 personal planets Retrograde, Mercury which rules communication, and Venus which rules intimate relationships. There has been a lot of emotional review, as well as delays in mundane activities.
Around mid-April when both Mercury and Venus are back in Direct motion, there will be a sense of relief and exhilaration, as we move forward in our pursuits with greater ease than we have since October of last year, 2024, when Mars was slowing down for its Retrograde motion. We basically entered this new year with nonstop Retrograde influences, not to mention an eclipse season that marks massive changes ahead. There is still a carry-over of important planetary influences in Pisces, especially that of Saturn which, upon exiting Pisces will draw closer to Neptune, for the conjunction they will form early in 2026. When it comes to our personal endeavors and relationships, this is going to clear out a lot of what no longer serves us – whatever stands in the way of our progress will be challenged as the call to action resounds like a magnificent bell.
